Since the start, Casa Oakview has been an incredibly therapeutic environment where your child can come and work on their recovery. Your child will be treated with respect and be given the opportunity to help create their treatment goals, move through a level system, go on outings and participate in all aspects of our program. Our Family Based Therapy groups give families a safe and empowering place to communicate, learn and grow, and connect with other families going through similar challenges.
I am so proud of the staff at Casa Oakview! They are all an integral part of the treatment team and bring a unique set of skills, knowledge, care and compassion to their work. The team takes pride in the treatment services provided at Casa Oakview and do everything in their power to ensure patients are successful in their recovery. We are ready to welcome your child at any time and help them beat ED head on!

Christopher Wilbur, LVN
Chris has been working in the psychiatric field for the past five years. He enjoys working with adolescents and helping them progress through some of the difficulties they are facing in their lives. His favorite part of his job at Casa Oakview is interacting with the members and seeing their progression as they go through the program. He is honestly proud of each and every client that passes through and learns that they are much more than their eating disorder tells them they are. His goal each and every day is to see each client smile and hear them say something positive about themselves.
The team takes pride in the treatment services provided at Casa Oakview and do everything in their power to ensure patients are successful in their recovery.

Sharon is one of the Clinicians at Casa Oakview, who provides individual, family and group therapy for eating disorder clients. She has compassion for those she works with and sees potential in each and every client. Prior to working at Casa Oakview, she had eleven years in a foster care setting: providing therapy to at-risk children, biological parents and foster parents, as well as supervising Social Workers. She then moved to Director of the Refugee Program collaborating with outside agencies to connect undocumented minors in a foster care setting with U.S. sponsors, as well as, supervising bilingual staff and teachers for the on-site school program. She ended her tenure there as Licensing Director, ensuring that new foster homes met California state licensing requirements. Sharon then worked in a homeless shelter, providing therapy, program oversight, individual and group therapy, as well as supervising staff. Sharon also had extensive experience providing therapy and oversight of a drop-in center for homeless veterans.
Shelby McClure received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Chico State University. During this time, she interned at Rape Crisis Intervention as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. She also completed an internship at a local middle school, where she counseled and provided support to children struggling in and outside of the classroom. Shelby then continued on to receive a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed a trainee-ship working with men and women on probation and parole. After graduating, Shelby did a year long internship through Kaiser Permanente, providing therapy to adults in the Chemical Dependency and general Mental Health departments. While at Kaiser, Shelby got experience working with multiple adult patients struggling with eating disorders, and decided to pursue an internship at Casa Oakview where she could gain more experience and provide support and guidance to children and families suffering from the disease.
I love working with really truly genuine people.
