Long Term Services

Anka provides long term residential services for people who are not able to live independently but who are able to live in the community with increased services and supports. Services are focused on assisting consumers to express their needs and preferences, reduce isolation, and achieve their highest quality of life within the community.

• Board and Care
  Anka has recognized that some consumers living with mental illness require ongoing supervision and supports to safely remain in the community. As a result, Anka has designed a long-term residential environment where people are able to receive supervision and supports in the areas of life skills and socialization. Consumers receive additional supports from community resources but are able to enjoy a community living environment where they can safely enjoy community integration and increased independence.
  
  
• Intellectual Disability
  Anka has developed a variety of long term living environments for people with intellectual disabilities. The long term residential programs allow for an "aging in place" model where consumers can realize the life of their choosing while still receiving the services and supports identified through the person centered planning process.
