HIPAA Statement

The confidentiality of health care information is protected under federal law. Protected health information includes any information about an individual's history, present or future physical and/or mental health conditions, substance abuse or HIV status. It also includes any health information that can be linked back to identify a specific individual.

In short, Anka Behavioral Health, Inc:
Will neither confirm nor deny that any individual is or is not receiving services in our programs, even if protected health information about that individual has already been disclosed, or

Will not disclose any information about a client or specific services provided to that client, without the express written authorization of the client or his or her legal guardian.
