Anka Book of Honors

Anka proudly celebrates our employees and their dedicated work.

Annually, each of Anka's regions hosts a State of the Union for our employees where Anka's President and CEO, Dr. Michael Barrington, addresses the employees. During the event, Dr. Barrington and the Executive Team provide an overall view of the company's growth and outline new initiatives and successes.

The focus is one of celebration, of the work and of the employees. At the event, Anka presents over 75 awards. The "Rising Star" award is given to those who have demonstrated a commitment Anka's mission and are identified as future leaders of Anka. The "Appreciation" award recognizes those that have gone above and beyond the call of duty in their contributions to the company and the lives of the people we serve. Anka's employee of the year award, referred to as the "Mickey/Minnie Mouse" awards, is given to those that embody Anka's spirit and have inspired others to reach for the stars. From the event, Anka publishes and distributes to each employee a Book of Honors which lists each person receiving commendation, their picture, and a description of their excellence.
