We are seeking an Activity Director – On Call to provide rehabilitation activities and services to residents in a residential services facility for adults ages 18-59 who are diagnosed with developmental disabilities, mental disabilities and behavioral problems.
This is an On Call position.  One to three month’s related experience and/or training: equivalent combination and experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral issues. High school diploma or general degree (GED).
Must have valid California Driver's License; good driving record. Proof of current auto insurance and must meet insurability requirements of Anka insurance carrier.

We are seeking a part time Cook to plan, select, and prepare food according to the menu and special diets, and in sufficient quality and quantity necessary to meet the needs of the residents as specified in Section 80076(a)(1), and serve the food in a safe and healthful manner. This is a part time cook position, Saturday/Sunday 6am - 9am. 2+ years experience in meal preparation for large groups/community.  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Plus a Food Handlers Certificate. A valid California Driver’s License, Class IIIC.  Proof of auto insurance and must meet insurability requirements of Anka insurance carrier.

Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, the incumbent will perform cleaning and maintenance of designated facilities and perform other related work.  The work will primarily be performed inside with some outside assignments.  It includes exposure to unsanitary conditions, odors, cleaning chemicals, and some noise.  It may also involve some weekend work and working alone. Incumbent will use standard operating guidelines pertaining to floor and back pack vacuums, floor buffers, carpet shampooer and steam cleaners, mops, brooms, dust pans, ladders, small hand tools, and vehicles.  The job also includes light to heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds), reaching, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, and prolonged periods of standing.  (Supervision received usually consists of oral and some written instructions to define work activities and problems, and to prescribe both general and detailed methods for achieving work tasks.) Satisfactory completion of high school diploma or the equivalent is preferred.   Demonstrated experience in custodial maintenance is highly desirable, but not required.  Will train.  Successful completion of Anka Enterprises' Custodial Training Program.

Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, participate in the operation of a 15-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center for psychiatrically acute or sub-acute adults who require 24-hour supervision and intense structure.  The program’s primary goal is to provide a client-centered, holistic, Mental Health Rehabilitation Center to assist long-term residents in their transition to independent or supported living arrangements; and to assist short-term residents in their transition to a board and care.  This is a non-exempt position.

Riverside

Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, participate in the operation of a 15-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center for psychiatrically acute or sub-acute adults who require 24-hour supervision and intense structure.  The program’s primary goal is to provide a client-centered, holistic, Mental Health Rehabilitation Center to assist long-term residents in their transition to independent or supported living arrangements; and to assist short-term residents in their transition to a board and care.  This is a non-exempt position.

Under the supervision of the Center Director, participate in the operation of a 15-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center for psychiatrically acute or sub-acute adults who require 24-hour supervision and intense structure.  The program's primary goal is to provide a client-centered, holistic, Mental Health Rehabilitation Center to assist long-term residents in their transition to independent or supported living arrangements; and to assist short-term residents in their transition to a board and care.  The primary responsibility of a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker I is to provide services within the therapeutic milieu using social rehabilitation principles in a community-based setting.  Perform a broad range of tasks while developing clinical proficiency, teamwork, and knowledge of mental health issues. This is a non-exempt position. Min. 2yrs experience in mental health, social rehab, dual diagnosis, or related field.  Bi-cultural/bi-lingual experience is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent and some related post secondary education. Under the direct supervision of the Program Administrator, the Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist participates in the implementation and promotion of services for a severely mentally disabled population and will provide psycho-educational, recreational, and vocational services for residents.  The MHRS is responsible for delivering services that meet or exceed county and CONREP requirements for treatment, service documentation, and safety of the community.  This is a part time position.  Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.  Prefer BA in psychology or related.  At least 1yr experience (2 years preferred) in mental health work. Bi-cultural/bi-lingual experience is an asset.  Have a clinical and working knowledge of crisis intervention and prevention. MS Word & EXCEL a must. Ability to lift up to 40lbs. approximately three (3) times per week.  Ability to negotiate several flights of stairs during each work period.  Valid California Driver’s License and good driving record.  Proof of auto insurance and must meet insurability requirements of Anka insurance carrier.

Under the supervision and direction of the Program Administrator, the MHRW participates in the implementation and promotion of services for a severely mentally disabled population, and provide psycho-educational, recreational, and vocational services for residents.  Provides counseling services (i.e. group, individual, and family) within the therapeutic milieu using social rehabilitation principles in a community based setting.  The MHRW is expected to develop proficiency in counseling, teamwork, coordination and liaison skills, as well as customer service professionalism.  Min. 1yr Full Time exp. working in programs serving persons with mental disabilities (prefer 2 yrs.). Exp. must be in direct service to clients.  High school diploma or equivalent required. BA in psychology or related preferred. Bilingual an asset. Have clinical knowledge of crisis intervention and prevention.   Proof of auto insurance and must meet insurability requirements of Anka insurance carrier. Fingerprint clearance required. The Program Administrator under the supervision of the Executive Management Team, will develop, implement, and manage specialized residential services for four children with developmental disabilities, mental health and behavioral challenges.  This is an exempt position.  The Program Administrator is responsible for the overall management and administration of the residential program in compliance with law and regulation.  A minimum of twelve months of prior experience providing direct supervision and special services to persons with developmental disabilities.  Two (2) years successful experience in program administration and supervision. Master of Arts (M.A.) or Master of Science (M.S.) in a human services field with a specialization in providing support to persons with developmental disabilities preferred.  Hold a current certification as an administrator of residential facility and have the training and experience to carry out the requirements of Title 17 and 22.
